About Us
The Association of Hazaras in Victoria is a non-profit organization established in April 2002 to assist Afghan refugees in Australia . In terms of membership, our organization represents nearly 3,000 Afghans, both honorary and official members who have overwhelmingly chosen to settle in the City of Casey and the City of Greater Dandenong .
- Provide essential settlement support to Afghan refugees.
- Bring together the Hazara community and to strengthen this newly emerging society.
- Promote the Hazara community in order for it to become a modern and developed society
- Be active and participate in multicultural Australian society.
- Support Human Rights issues, democratic freedom, minority ethnic groups’ rights.
The challenging and diverse work of the Association is carried out by a management committee of nin members, a dedicated group of core volunteers.
